Firm of One is a program of New Version Coaching & Consulting LLC (“New Version Coaching,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through firmofone.newversioncoaching.com (the “Site”) and our related emails and products, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Firm of One provides educational content, downloadable document kits and one-to-one coaching that help professionals use AI tools to produce stronger business documents. You can reach us at john@newversioncoaching.com.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you request the free kit, buy a product, or contact us, we collect your name and email address, and anything you include in your messages.
  • Your assessment result, if you choose to send it. If you sign up at the end of the AI Practice Assessment, your result is saved alongside your name and email so we can tailor what we send you. Taking the assessment without signing up sends us nothing — see the section on it below.
  • Payment information. When you buy a product, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the purchase and your billing name and email, but we do not collect or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
  • Information collected automatically. Our host and the tools embedded on the Site (such as our sign-up form) may record basic technical information like your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, to keep the Site working and secure.

How we use your information

  • To deliver the free kit and any products you buy.
  • To send you related emails — such as your download link, follow-up guidance about the kit, and occasional information about our products. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site and our services.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Email and your choices

We send marketing emails only to people who have asked for the kit or otherwise opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Some messages — such as a receipt or a reply to your question — are service messages, not marketing.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed to do so:

  • HighLevel / LeadConnector — our customer-management and email platform.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Netlify — website hosting.
  • Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly website statistics.

These providers process your information on our behalf under their own terms and security measures. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Where your information is processed

We operate from Trinidad & Tobago, and our providers (including Stripe and HighLevel) process data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. By using the Site you understand that your information may be processed outside your own country.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are a subscriber or customer, and as needed for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing. Email john@newversioncoaching.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

The AI Practice Assessment

Answering the questions sends us nothing. The assessment at /assessment/ runs entirely inside your own browser. Your answers are held in your browser’s session storage so you can leave a question and come back to it, and that copy is cleared when you finish or close the tab. Your result is carried in the web address of the results page, so the link itself is the record — if you share it, you are sharing your answers; if you keep it, nobody else can see them.

Your level, your score and your biggest opportunity are shown to you without any sign-up. The rest of the report — the full analysis, the hours estimate, your profile and your 7/30/90-day roadmap — opens once you enter your name and email. At that point we send those together with your result to our customer-management platform (HighLevel, listed above). What is stored is your name, your email, and your result recorded as labels on your record: your level (Explorer, Practitioner, Builder or Operator), the goal you chose, the kind of work that takes most of your time, and the kind of professional you said you are. We use it for one purpose — so the emails you get are about your actual situation rather than a generic sequence. It is never sold, and it is not shared with anyone beyond the providers listed above. Once you have done this, your browser remembers it (a small local setting, not a cookie) so you are not asked again.

If you followed a personalised link from one of our emails, the link carries a reference to your existing record, so no form is shown and you are not asked for anything. When you finish, your result is added to that record as the same labels described above. No name, email or other personal detail is collected or transmitted in that case — only the result labels — and completing it this way does not subscribe you to anything new.

Separately from all of that, our statistics tool records anonymous, aggregated counts — how many people started and finished, and the overall spread of levels and goals. Those numbers tell us which questions to improve and cannot be traced back to you.

You can ask us at any time to delete your record, including your result. See Your rights above.

Website statistics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the Site is used — how many people visit, which pages they read, and which buttons they click. Plausible is privacy-friendly by design: it sets no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect or store any information that identifies you personally. The statistics we see are counts and trends, never individual people.

Cookies

The Site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and our website statistics are measured without cookies (see above). Tools we embed — such as the sign-up form — may set functional cookies they need to work. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

The Site and our products are intended for professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top.
